Ahmedabad-based Printona Multiprint has strengthened its digital printing capabilities with the installation of a new Canon imagePRESS V800 production press. The investment marks a significant step in the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance print quality, expand production capacity, and deliver innovative print solutions to its diverse customer base.
Specializing in wedding invitations, greeting cards, business stationery, brochures, catalogs, flyers, and other commercial print products, Printona Multiprint serves customers across various segments. The newly installed imagePRESS V800, commissioned in February 2026, is the company’s second digital color production press from Canon India.
According to Dhruv Patel of Printona Multiprint, the addition of the imagePRESS V800 has brought noticeable improvements in print output quality, color vibrancy, and texture reproduction. The company had previously relied on a Canon imagePRESS C710, which has successfully supported its digital production requirements for over three years.
Designed for high-performance production environments, the Canon imagePRESS V800 handles a wide range of media, including coated and textured papers, covers, envelopes, synthetic substrates, and long sheets up to 1,300 mm. The press supports media weights from 52 gsm to 350 gsm and delivers print resolution of up to 2400 x 2400 dpi, ensuring sharp image quality and consistent color reproduction. With a production speed of up to 80 A4 pages per minute, the machine enables efficient handling of both short-run and customized print jobs.
Backed by a team of more than 20 professionals, including graphic designers, machine operators, and production specialists, Printona Multiprint continues to focus on delivering premium-quality print products while keeping pace with evolving market trends and customer expectations.
