At the recent PrintPack 2025 exhibition, COPL Print O Pack finalized a key investment in die-cutting technology that has significantly enhanced its production capabilities. The company installed the DGM Technocut 1050 S automatic die-cutter with waste removal, and the results have been impressive.
The high-speed machine, capable of processing up to 7,500 sheets per hour, handles a wide range of substrates — from duplex boards and FBB between 80 and 2,000 gsm to three-ply corrugated boards up to B-flute (4 mm thickness). It accommodates a maximum sheet size of 1,050×740 mm.
With two die-cutters now running around the clock, COPL Print O Pack has achieved a new benchmark: processing close to 80,000 sheets within a single day. The minimum order size for short-run jobs has been set at 5,000 sheets, ensuring faster turnarounds and greater flexibility.
Hansraj Choudhary, Chairman of COPL Print O Pack, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the new machine. “The level of accuracy, especially for complex die-cut shapes, has improved tremendously,” he said. “We’ve also integrated inline quality checks and post-production inspection processes. Our team has been fully trained on operating the new equipment, ensuring optimal output.”
Choudhary was particularly impressed by DGM’s live demonstration at PrintPack 2025, where the company showcased its ability to laminate three-ply boards using the SmartFlute carton laminator, and then die-cut them at full speed on the Technocut 1050 S. The final output — a six-corner E-flute carton — was folded and glued using the TechnoFold 1100SL folder-gluer at a remarkable speed of 28,000 cartons per hour.
With this investment, COPL Print O Pack continues to strengthen its position as a leader in packaging solutions, serving a wide array of sectors including cosmetics, food and beverage, eCommerce, pharmaceuticals, and luxury packaging.
