Durst Group Marks 90 Years of Innovation with NEXT Technology Festival Showcasing the Future of Digital Print
Global print technology leader to bring together industry experts, innovators, and partners to explore automation, AI, and intelligent production systems.

Durst Group is set to celebrate its 90th anniversary with the Durst NEXT Technology Festival, scheduled for June 25–26, 2026, at the company’s headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy. The two-day event will bring together global industry leaders, technology experts, customers, and partners to explore the future of digital production, automation, and intelligent manufacturing.

Founded in 1936, Durst has evolved from a company focused on photographic imaging into a global provider of digital production and industrial printing technologies. Under the theme “Our World is Printed,” the anniversary celebration reflects the company’s journey while highlighting emerging technologies and innovations shaping the next generation of print production.

The Durst NEXT Technology Festival will serve as a platform for discussions, demonstrations, and knowledge exchange across multiple industries, including digital printing, advanced manufacturing, automation, and industrial intelligence. The event will focus on how data, artificial intelligence, and connected production systems are transforming modern manufacturing environments.

A key highlight of the festival will be the introduction of KYVERIS, Durst’s Industrial Intelligence platform designed for digital print production. By integrating hardware, software, data analytics, and process expertise, the platform aims to support smarter, more adaptive, and efficient production workflows.

The event will feature international perspectives from technology specialists, entrepreneurs, academics, industry professionals, and business leaders. Attendees will explore topics such as AI-driven production, digital twins, automated workflows, sustainable manufacturing, and the future of connected industrial systems.

On June 25, Durst will host the inaugural Durst NEXT Honors, an exclusive evening recognizing customers, partners, and industry contributors who have played an important role in shaping the company’s global journey. The event will highlight successful collaborations and achievements across Durst’s international ecosystem.

The public festival day on June 26 will feature live technology experiences, expert discussions, and interactive sessions. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore applications including robotics, 3D scanning, digital production workflows, technical ceramics, wearable technologies, and advanced industrial solutions.

Beyond technology showcases, the event will emphasize collaboration and community, bringing together stakeholders from the print and manufacturing sectors to discuss opportunities created by automation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

As the printing industry continues moving toward smarter and more connected production models, the Durst NEXT Technology Festival highlights the company’s vision for the future of digital print—where innovation, automation, and intelligent technologies drive efficiency and new business possibilities.
