PERFECTMIX Boosts Digital Print Capabilities with HEIDELBERG Jetfire 50 Installation
French print service provider integrates industrial inkjet technology with Prinect workflow to enhance hybrid production, flexibility, and efficiency.

French commercial printing company PERFECTMIX has strengthened its production capabilities with the installation of the first HEIDELBERG Jetfire 50 industrial digital inkjet press in France. The investment marks a significant step in the company’s growth strategy as it expands its hybrid print production model by combining digital printing with existing offset capabilities.

Based in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, PERFECTMIX has developed into one of southern France’s leading innovative print service providers through strategic expansion, acquisitions, and investments in advanced production technologies. The company is focusing on delivering faster turnaround times, personalized print solutions, and flexible production options to meet changing customer expectations.

The newly installed Jetfire 50 has been integrated into PERFECTMIX’s existing HEIDELBERG Prinect Production Manager workflow, creating a connected hybrid production environment. This integration enables seamless coordination between offset and digital printing processes, improving automation, order management, and overall production efficiency.

With the addition of the Jetfire 50, PERFECTMIX can now respond more effectively to growing demand for short runs, personalized applications, on-demand printing, and premium-quality digital output. The system allows the company to optimize production based on job requirements by using the strengths of both digital and offset technologies.

According to PERFECTMIX, the investment supports its goal of providing customers with creative print solutions while maintaining high levels of productivity and quality. The Jetfire 50 complements the company’s existing offset presses and finishing equipment, helping optimize production for applications such as personalized print products, limited-edition projects, and jobs requiring additional finishing processes.

The company highlighted that the new digital inkjet system delivers print quality comparable to offset production while offering the flexibility required for today’s evolving commercial print market. By integrating both technologies through a unified workflow, PERFECTMIX aims to improve responsiveness, cost efficiency, and production scalability.

HEIDELBERG stated that market response to its hybrid production concept continues to grow as more commercial printers combine offset and digital printing capabilities to achieve greater operational flexibility. The Jetfire 50 enables print providers to manage a wider range of applications and run lengths through a single integrated production environment.

Dr. David Schmedding, Executive Board Member for Technology and Sales at HEIDELBERG, emphasized that the company’s digital printing solutions are designed to help customers improve profitability and competitiveness. He added that the international rollout of the Jetfire 50 is progressing as planned, with additional installations expected across Asia and Northern Europe.

With the adoption of the Jetfire 50, PERFECTMIX strengthens its position as an advanced print service provider while reflecting the broader industry shift toward connected, automated, and hybrid production environments.
