G&G Introduces Patented Solution for CAD Graphic Printing
After the release of G&G’s reman ink cartridges for HP 738 series, it has now introduced the latest patent-safe solution for use in the HP’s DesignJet T-Series printers, fulfilling the large-format printing needs for those working on CAD drawings, GIS graphics, building blueprints and advert designs.

In November 2023, HP launched the DesignJet T850/950 series large-format printers, ideal for AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) and GIS (geographic information system) professionals to deliver accurate lines, legible texts and amazing artworks.

HP uses a flexible rubber bulb-like structure in many of its DesignJet ink cartridges. It’s an advanced technology pioneered by HP to detect the ink volume. However, this technology has posed many challenges for the aftermarket to develop replacement ink cartridges.

Common Challenges for Aftermarket

  • Ink recognition failure. The rubber bulb is pressed to recognize the ink. Once the pressure is too low, the printer displays the error of “Ink System Failure”
  • Frequent air infiltrating errors in the ink supply system
  • Hard to overcome HP’s chip technology and develop the serial numbers
  • Big ink droplets on the prints, unable to print small fonts and straight lines
