International Conference on AI & Robotics in Printing & Packaging 24–26 September 2026
Three-day international conference in Hisar will bring together global experts, industry leaders, researchers, and students to explore the future of AI and robotics in printing and packaging.

The Offset Printers Association (OPA) and the Department of Printing Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJUS&T), Hisar, are jointly organising an International Conference on “AI and Robotics: Revolutionizing Printing & Packaging” from 24 to 26 September 2026 at the GJUS&T campus in Hisar, Haryana. This three-day landmark event will bring together industry leaders, academicians, researchers, and technology providers from India and abroad to explore how Artificial Intelligence and Robotics are transforming the printing and packaging sector. The conference is drawing immense interest across the sector, with an expected participation of over 300 printing industry experts, printing students, and faculty members.

Adding to the prestige of the event, OPA will host concurrent presentations of the celebrated Print Shree Award 2026 and the Presidential Print Awards, honouring outstanding contributions and innovations in the printing community. Confirmed international participation has already been received from experts representing Greece, Canada, and Thailand, who will address the conference and share global insights on the application of AI and robotics in printing and packaging.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, Chairman of the conference, said: “The printing and packaging industry is at a critical juncture where adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics is no longer optional but essential for survival and growth. This international conference will provide a unique platform for Indian printers and converters to learn from global experts and prepare themselves for the future.”

Dr. Vandana Gupta, Chairperson, Department of Printing Technology, GJUS&T, stated: “This conference is a significant step in strengthening industry-academia collaboration. It will not only expose our students and faculty to the latest global advancements but also open new avenues for research, innovation and skill development in the field of printing and packaging technology.”

The conference aims to foster knowledge exchange, showcase emerging technologies, and further strengthen the partnership between OPA and GJUS&T in the areas of skill development, research, internships, and international linkages.
