Strong customer response reflects growing demand for advanced converting technologies and industrial digital printing solutions

Newgen Printronics recorded a significant achievement at Loupe India, announcing eight major equipment orders on the third day of the exhibition. The company confirmed orders for five Poly automatic converting lines, two Packers converting machines, and a flagship Durst industrial UV inkjet digital press. The impressive order tally highlights the growing interest among Indian printing businesses in advanced production technologies and value-added manufacturing capabilities.

At the exhibition, Newgen Printronics showcased two distinct converting technologies: a full-rotary/semi-rotary converting line and a solid die punching machine. Designed to address a wide range of specialised applications, these systems offer converting solutions for in-mould labels (IML), aluminium lids, ice cream cone sleeves, wads and wet-glue paper labels. The showcased technologies demonstrate the increasing versatility and technical advancements in the narrow-web label and packaging converting segment.

Representing 23 international brands, Newgen Printronics has established a comprehensive portfolio of solutions covering pressroom equipment, converting machinery, tooling and curing technologies for the narrow-web labels and flexible packaging industries. The company also represents Omet flexographic presses across South India and Sri Lanka, strengthening its presence in the regional printing and packaging market.

The eight equipment orders secured at Loupe India reflect the industry’s continued investment in automation, production efficiency and next-generation printing technologies. With converters increasingly seeking greater flexibility, consistent output quality and improved operational performance, the demand for sophisticated converting systems and industrial digital printing solutions is expected to remain an important growth driver for the Indian printing industry.
