Antalis has launched 2U Silk and 2U Digital Silk, two premium coated papers that combine high print performance with strong environmental credentials.
Both products have been awarded a four-star Antalis Green Star System rating and are FSC Mix Credit certified, ensuring responsible sourcing. They are designed to meet the needs of commercial printers looking for sustainable options without compromising on quality.
2U Silk is available in weights from 115gsm to 400gsm across SRA1, SRA2, and B1 formats. The company said it offers excellent opacity and a smooth double-sided coated surface for sharp image reproduction. 2U Digital Silk is optimised for both dry and liquid toner digital presses, supporting runnability at all speeds. It comes in the same wide weight range and in digital-press-compatible SRA3 and B2+ sizes.
Both papers are positioned as versatile solutions for printed communications, delivering high-definition output, accurate colour reproduction and consistent results, even at lighter grammages. Antalis will stock a core range to meet most customer requirements, with ex-mill supply available within seven days and a cutter reel service providing bespoke sizes in as little as 15 days, the company stated.
