New Bengaluru facility combines sheetfed offset printing, workflow demonstrations, operator training and practical skill development.

HEIDELBERG India has partnered with the Printech Park Cluster to establish India’s first integrated Sheetfed Offset Printing, Workflow and Training Competence Centre at KIADB Industrial Area, Harohalli, near Bengaluru. Developed as a world-class Common Facility Centre (CFC), it brings together live production, workflow demonstrations, operator training and skill development under one roof.

The collaboration was formalized through signing of a MoU by Mr. C.R. Janardhana, Chairman; Mr. Ashok Kumar, Vice Chairman; and Mr. B.R. Sathya Kumar, GC Member, representing the Printech Park Cluster, along with Mr. Upendra Rajadnya, Territory Manager โ€“ Lifecycle Operations; Mr. Robert Joseph, Business Head โ€“ Consumables; and Mr. B.S. Chandrashekar BS, Cluster Sales Head (South) on behalf of HEIDELBERG India.

The centre is equipped with a HEIDELBERG Speedmaster CS 92 four-colour press with coating unit, a Suprasetter A 106 CtP system, a Polar 115 PF cutting machine, and Stahlfolder CH 66 folding equipment โ€” delivering a seamless workflow from prepress through postpress.

Samir Patkar, President, HEIDELBERG India, said: “Printech Park represents a first-of-its-kind opportunity for the Indian printing industry to experience a complete HEIDELBERG ecosystem under one roof. Beyond showcasing technology, the facility will serve as a centre for continuous learning, where printers, operators, and production teams can receive hands-on training from experienced HEIDELBERG specialists. This initiative reinforces our commitment to driving innovation, productivity, and skill development across the industry.”

Mr. C.R. Janardhana, Chairman, Printech Park Cluster, added that the facility gives printers and print buyers access to advanced production capabilities and industry-leading technologies without significant capital investment.

As India’s print and packaging industry grows on rising demand from FMCG, pharma and e-commerce, this collaboration addresses two key needs: technology adoption and skilled manpower – building a more competitive, technology-driven print ecosystem for the future.
