New SureColor SC-G9030 and SC-F20030 systems support textile manufacturers with faster, flexible, and sustainable printing solutions.
Epson Textile Printers have been introduced in India with the launch of the SureColor SC-G9030 Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer and SureColor SC-F20030 dye-sublimation printer. The new industrial printing systems are designed to support textile manufacturers, garment exporters, and print service providers with improved productivity, quality, and sustainable digital production
The launch comes as India’s textile and apparel industry continues to adopt digital manufacturing technologies to meet growing demand for customized products, shorter production runs, and faster turnaround times. Digital textile printing is also gaining importance due to its ability to reduce material waste, water usage, and excess inventory while supporting more sustainable production methods.
The SureColor SC-G9030 is developed for commercial Direct-to-Film printing applications and delivers production speeds of up to 34.1 square metres per hour. The system supports printing on various materials, including cotton, polyester, nylon, blended fabrics, leather, and rigid surfaces, making it suitable for fashion apparel, sportswear, promotional products, and customized merchandise.
Powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology, the printer delivers detailed image quality and consistent performance. It features an integrated front heater to reduce ink bleeding, high-capacity UltraChrome DF ink packs for extended production, 1200 x 600 dpi resolution, and Epson Edge Print Pro software for efficient workflow management.
Alongside the DTF solution, Epson has introduced the SureColor SC-F20030 industrial dye-sublimation printer designed for high-volume textile production environments. The system can achieve speeds of up to 295 square metres per hour and is suitable for applications including sportswear, fashion textiles, home décor, soft signage, and promotional products.
The SC-F20030 combines PrecisionCore printhead technology with a high-capacity bulk ink system to support long production runs with consistent colour accuracy. Its advanced media handling capabilities help improve operational efficiency and minimize production interruptions.
Speaking about the launch, Prabagaran S, Senior General Manager – Sales and Marketing, Epson India, highlighted that the textile industry is moving toward faster, more flexible, and sustainable manufacturing practices. He stated that digital printing technologies are helping businesses respond to changing customer demands while improving productivity and reducing waste.
With the introduction of these new textile printing solutions, Epson aims to strengthen its presence in India’s industrial printing segment by supporting manufacturers in their transition toward advanced digital production. The company continues to focus on developing technologies that enhance print performance, sustainability, and business growth across industrial applications.
As digital textile printing continues to expand, solutions such as these are expected to play an important role in helping India’s textile sector improve competitiveness in both domestic and global markets.
