Burgopak Unveils Innovative Packaging for Map My Mole’s Skin Cancer Detection Kit

Burgopak has been selected to design and manufacture new packaging for Map My Mole’s Image Capture Kit. The kit includes a clinical dermoscope, which is a magnifying lens attachment for smartphones. The lens allows users to capture medical quality images of their moles at home, which are then assessed by a consultant dermatologist.

The brief from Map My Mole was to design a pack that provides coherence to the content – a clear arrangement of the lens, sachets and instructions. The lens also needed to be secured and protected.

The kit is sold in pharmacies and clinics as well as mailed to users – so the design needed to work for all scenarios.

Willemijn Zandt, Senior Healthcare Project Manager at Burgopak, said:
