Converter completes FAT for two presses and orders largest S3S 670 system, highlighting strong demand for high-automation flexo solutions
Tarabichi Global has just completed FAT for two more Multitec presses, its 6th and 7th, and during the same visit signed for No. 8, its largest Multitec press yet.
There was plenty happening on the shop floor too.
The new 9-colour S3S 670 was put through multiple production jobs across different materials, repeats and plate sets. Job changeovers involving both substrate and plate changes were consistently achieved within 10 minutes.
With 8 servo motors per print station, over 80 servo drives and our new servo auto-pressure control, the press brings a high level of automation and repeatability to short-run flexible packaging production. A reversible first print unit, along with a configuration featuring inline foiling and lamination, further expands what can be produced on the press.
Alongside it, Tarabichi Global’s S2 450 also successfully completed FAT.
For us, though, the highlight of the visit was not just what the machines demonstrated. It was seeing a long-standing customer place its next order before these two had even left our factory.
