Spectal Pack Launches SpectalEdge to Advance Digital Packaging Innovation
Annual industry summit brings together HP, Redington and packaging leaders to promote digital printing, sustainability and packaging transformation.

Spectal Pack, an Indian provider of printing and packaging solutions, has launched the inaugural edition of SpectalEdge – The Packaging Innovation Summit, a new annual industry platform focused on advancing digital printing, sustainable packaging and innovation. Organised in collaboration with HP and Redington, the event attracted more than 150 industry professionals from across the packaging value chain.

Designed as an annual knowledge-sharing platform, SpectalEdge aims to bring together brands, technology providers, converters and industry experts to discuss emerging trends in packaging, digital transformation, sustainability and the increasing demand for agile, customised packaging solutions.

The summit highlighted the growing role of digital printing in transforming the packaging industry by enabling shorter production cycles, reduced material waste, enhanced customisation and improved supply chain efficiency. Discussions also explored how digital printing technologies are making premium packaging more accessible to startups and MSMEs while helping minimise inventory requirements and production complexities.

As an early adopter of digital flexible packaging in India, Spectal Pack continues to strengthen its capabilities through investments in advanced printing technologies. The company stated that its collaboration with HP and Redington supports wider adoption of digital printing solutions while helping businesses improve operational flexibility, efficiency and sustainability.

Speaking at the event, Priyesh Dalmia, Co-Founder of Spectal Pack, said the launch of SpectalEdge marks the beginning of a dedicated platform that connects brands, innovators and technology partners to shape the future of India’s packaging industry. He added that the company remains focused on delivering high-quality, sustainable and scalable packaging solutions for businesses of all sizes, particularly startups and MSMEs seeking greater production flexibility and faster turnaround.

Pawan Chauhan, Country Business Manager, HP Industrial and Inkjet Business Solutions, HP India, noted that India’s packaging sector is rapidly evolving with increasing demand for personalisation, shorter product lifecycles and sustainable production. He said HP Indigo digital printing technology enables converters and brand owners to respond more efficiently while reducing waste and improving manufacturing flexibility.

The summit concluded with an exclusive visit to Spectal Pack’s production facility, where attendees experienced live demonstrations of digital printing and finishing technologies along with practical packaging applications showcasing the capabilities of modern digital manufacturing.
