Scan Press, one of Gujarat’s most respected plate bureaus, has taken a significant leap in its technological journey by installing its fourth Kodak Computer-to-Plate (CTP) system.
Continuing a 20-year partnership with Insight Print Communications, the company reinforces its commitment to high-quality, consistent, and reliable plate production.
Founded in 1986, Scan Press started with manual plate-making and entered the digital era in 2008 with its first Kodak Trendsetter. Since then, the company has progressively built its infrastructure around Kodak’s trusted imaging technology.
The newly added KODAK TRENDSETTER Q400 Platesetter brings enhanced eco-efficiency, reduced waste, and remote system monitoring, all backed by Kodak’s renowned SQUARESPOT imaging technology for precise and repeatable output.
Kantibhai Hirpara and Kantibhai Ladani, partners at Scan Press, emphasize that trust, low maintenance, and consistent performance have driven their long-standing choice of Kodak systems.
They credit Insight Print Communications, especially the support of National Sales Head Mr. Raja Balvinder Singh Kochhar, for guiding their technology adoption and sustaining reliable operations.
Mr. Ajay Aggarwal, MD & CEO of Insight, highlighted that Kodak’s process-free Sonora plates are helping customers like Scan Press reduce environmental impact while boosting operational efficiency.
This installation marks yet another milestone in Scan Press’s growth and commitment to serving Gujarat’s printing community with top-tier plate-making solutions.
