Parshvi Installs India’s First Atexco Vegapress 660C HD
Important figures from the publishing and printing industries in North India came together for the launch event, which took place at the customer’s location on June 28. The Vegapress 660C HD was demonstrated live throughout the event, exhibiting its unparalleled print quality and cutting-edge capabilities.

An exciting networking session and a festive get-together followed the demonstration, providing a lively forum for business executives to share ideas and investigate fresh prospects made possible by this innovative installation. The sister companies Parshvi Graphics and Kamal Sons were established in 2002 with the goal of providing the best printing and packaging solutions available. Under the leadership of a dynamic trio—Parshvi Graphics founder and promoter Anuj Jain, Kamal Sons founder and promoter Karan Gupta, and Parshvi director Anchit Jain—the group brings extensive experience, in-depth knowledge of the industry, and a shared passion for advancing innovation and excellence in the printing and packaging sector.

“We can’t wait to start this new adventure with the Atexco Vegapress. As the industry leader in packaging, we are now able to grow into short-run book printing for Indian publishers thanks to this cutting-edge press. Custom paper bags for our packaging business, textile inserts, bespoke packaging, on-demand books and periodicals, OMR sheets, direct mail, and many more uses are made possible by it. Speaking at the inaugural event, Anuj Jain expressed his delight and optimism for this new chapter. “With its ability to handle paper from 40- to 200-gsm, we have the flexibility to experiment and deliver innovative solutions to our customers,” he said. With 48 print heads and a maximum speed of 150 meters per minute, the Atexco Vegapress 660C HD can handle paper reels up to 660 mm.

Vibrant colors may be printed on both coated and uncoated paper with this press. It also has an integrated cutting and slitting unit that streamlines the entire manufacturing process by enabling the printed material to be produced into complete book blocks that are ready for binding. As offset printers clearly move toward more sophisticated webpress inkjet technology, we are proud to have partnered with Parshvi on this significant installation. We are excited to explore a wide range of applications beyond books and publishing with Parshvi’s vision, as the Atexco Vegapress 660C HD is the first of its kind in India. Thanks to our strong application expertise and committed service staff, we have reaffirmed our position as the market leader with our 15th Vegapress installation in India,” stated Ajay Aggarwal, MD & CEO of Insight Print Communications.

“I was genuinely amazed by this press’s capabilities when I first saw it at Drupa. I was sure that this was the way of the future for printing after witnessing it in action in China. Anchit Jain stated, “I knew we had to stay ahead of the curve and be the first to bring it to India.” Two web widths, 440 mm and 660 mm, are offered by the Atexco Vegapress to accommodate diverse manufacturing requirements. Insight also provides a small “mini press” option for clients wishing to get into the digital inkjet webpress business on a lesser scale. A reduced manufacturing footprint and increased operational efficiency result from this technology’s significant reductions in waste, labor needs, and logistical expenses. It also does away with the need to store and manage more than 35 distinct raw materials that are generally used in traditional printing.
