Optimum Adds Nilpeter FA-17 Presses for Label Growth

Optimum Group has added two new Nilpeter FA-17 flexo presses to its Denmark operations. The investment will help the company increase label production and improve workflow.

Boosting Label Production

Optimum Group will install the new presses at OG FlexoPrint in Randers and OG Labelco in Hinnerup. Both facilities will use the machines to handle the rising demand for self-adhesive labels.

In addition, the new equipment will help Optimum Group deliver faster service and maintain consistent print quality. The company serves customers from food, consumer goods, and industrial sectors.

Moreover, the investment supports Optimum Group’s plan to upgrade its European production sites. Today, label customers need shorter runs, faster delivery, and more flexible solutions. Therefore, advanced printing technology has become important for modern label production.

Improving Speed and Flexibility

The Nilpeter FA-17 presses will help Optimum Group reduce setup time and improve production speed. They support different label jobs, including pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging.

Furthermore, the presses offer a 17-inch web width and advanced automation features. These features help operators manage jobs easily and reduce material waste.

OG FlexoPrint brings more than 40 years of experience in self-adhesive label printing. Meanwhile, OG Labelco focuses on food and consumer packaging, where quality and safety remain key priorities.

Supporting Future Growth

André Prophitius, CEO of Optimum Group, said the investment highlights the company’s focus on advanced production technology.

He explained that the new presses will improve speed, flexibility, and production capacity across the company’s operations.

Similarly, Lars-Ole Nauta, CEO of Optimum Group Nordics, said the investment will help OG FlexoPrint and OG Labelco serve customers with faster and more reliable production.

Strengthening Label Printing

The latest installation also strengthens the partnership between Optimum Group and Nilpeter. The FA-Line series continues to support label printers that need efficient and reliable flexo solutions.

Overall, Optimum Group’s investment shows the growing demand for advanced label printing technology. With these new presses, the company can support future growth and meet changing customer requirements in the European label market.
