CMYUK to showcase next-generation JWEI cutting systems with faster speeds, improved stability and enhanced textile handling at NEC Birmingham.
CMYUK will give the new-generation JWEI SG1625 and JWEI SG3216 digital cutting systems their first public UK showing at The Print Show 2026, taking place from 29 September to 1 October at the NEC, Birmingham.
The two models will be demonstrated on CMYUK’s stand, P270 in Hall 1, where visitors will be able to see the upgraded speed, control, usability and production capabilities of JWEI’s latest SG platform.
CMYUK has chosen The Print Show for the UK introduction because it gives printers, sign-makers, and production specialists the opportunity to assess the digital cutting tables in a practical, applications-led environment.
JWEI has already made a significant impact on the UK finishing market since CMYUK introduced the JCUT Pro series in 2023. The range challenged the assumption that advanced digital cutting technology had to come with a premium price tag. Combining robust engineering, extensive tooling, and strong production performance with a more accessible investment level.
The new SG generation builds on that position. Cutting speeds have increased by 33.3% to 2,000mm per second, supported by an upgraded internal drive system designed to deliver smoother movement, faster response, and improved stability across the X, Y, Z and T axis. Operating noise has also been reduced to 64 db.
The SG1625 has a 1.6m x 2.5m cutting area and is designed as a highly productive and versatile platform for everyday commercial work across signage, display graphics, POS, packaging, textiles and specialist applications.
The SG3216 delivers an innovative 3.2m x 1.6m bed format, giving businesses access to true super-wide cutting in a more practical footprint. It is particularly suited to companies handling wide-format roll textiles that need the additional width, but without the space demands of a longer table.
For textile production, the SG3216 can also be paired with an optional rear de-tensioning unit developed by Neolt Factory. The system synchronises with the conveyor to feed roll media in a stable, controlled state, helping to reduce stretching and distortion. It can handle rolls up to 100m long and 100kg in weight.
