Pink, Green and White stations give the 1988-founded print house wider media freedom and more vibrant color, at a cost that suits today’s short-run market
Tituprint, the Jaipur-based print service provider that began life in 1988 with a single electric typewriter, has installed the Fujifilm Revoria PC2120 with the optional Pink, Green and White stations. The press was supplied by Insight Print Communications, Fujifilm’s channel partner. The seven-color press joins an already deep line-up that includes UV, foiling and bottle printing.
Founded by Mukesh Tanwani and his elder brother, Tituprint handles a broad range of digital work across commercial print and Photo albums Printing. Commercial remains a particular strength, supported by its in-house finishing capabilities.
A natural time to upgrade
With its previous digital press having completed ten years of service, the company began looking at a successor. Fujifilm emerged as the best fit.
“Ultimately, we have to change the machines. We felt Fujifilm was the most suitable option for our budget,” said Mukesh Tanwani, Proprietor, Tituprint.
More color, more media freedom
The extra stations were central to the decision. Pink and Green open up fluorescent effects, while White enables printing on darker stocks, which widens the range of jobs the company can take on.
The Revoria also offers Tituprint greater flexibility in the stocks it can run. “With the Revoria, we can use thin paper and print on a very wide range of media, and we don’t need to laminate every job,” Tanwani said.
Print quality has also stepped up. “Once you add two more good colors, it shows in the output. The color is vibrant, and the quality has improved,” he said.
Built for the short-run market
Around 99 per cent of Tituprint’s work is short-run. Marriage albums are by nature one-off jobs, and commercial orders follow a similar pattern. Tanwani expects the PC2120 to be particularly valuable in commercial and jewellery applications.
A considered investment
Tanwani, who regularly visits industry exhibitions to track new technology, evaluated other presses before choosing the Revoria. “In this segment and at this budget, I believe Revoria is much better than the others,” he said. The final decision followed a visit to the Fujifilm Revoria Experience Center in Faridabad, where the team was supported by Girish Sethi, Regional Sales Manager, Insight Print Communications Pvt Ltd., whom Tanwani has known for several years. “The credit goes to Mr Girish Sethi,” Tanwani added.
Cost was also a factor. “The Revoria is very reasonably priced for what it offers, and that matters because album volumes are going down day by day,” he said.
Advice for fellow PSPs
For print businesses weighing a new digital press, Tanwani recommends focusing on color options, print quality and cost of production, the areas where he says the PC2120 delivers. He will share a fuller assessment after the press has completed a few more months in production.
