Full Spectrum has made a double investment in a Titanium 2516 digital CAD cutting table and a Platinum 1325 UV printer to support its strategic growth and expansion into further sectors.
The Basildon-based printer took delivery of the two machines, which were supplied by International Graphic Supplies (IGS), in October. Full Spectrum was introduced to the IGS product range through its longstanding relationship with Managed Technology, a UK-based technology provider that specialises in industrial production printing. Managed Technology then facilitated a site visit for the Full Spectrum team to an existing IGS customer.
Full Spectrum CEO Kevin Walker said: “One of our goals for 2026 is to continue to expand our portfolio of packaging and wide-format services. It was therefore vital that we acquired highly precise and complementary machinery. “The demonstration of the Platinum UV printer and the Titanium cutter working together at a live site was crucial. Through consultation, we focused on the Platinum 1325 and the Titanium 2516 conveyor model with router to achieve our vision.”
The Titanium cutter features a 2.5×1.6m cutting bed and a conveyor belt system. It includes a wide variety of tools and a router for cutting rigid materials such as Dibond and acrylic. It features drag knife and creasing wheels for rapid packaging prototyping and production, oscillating knife for handling heavier substrates like corrugated boards and Foamex, and a kiss cutting tool for labels and stickers.
Walker added: “The Platinum 1325 working in tandem with the Titanium 2516 has already allowed us to offer a wider, innovative range of packaging prototypes, both for existing and new customers.
“The combined efficiency means we can satisfy short-run cut/crease and kiss-cutting productions, which complements our small-format digital capabilities. The large cutting bed of the Titanium, fed by the Platinum’s output, means we are now able to offer a comprehensive range of wide-format products, including wall, floor, and window graphics.
“An added benefit of the cutter was that its high precision drag knife allows us to cut our Heidelberg litho coating blankets to create intricate varnish areas.” Peter Flynn, managing director at IGS, added: “Full Spectrum has the highest reputation for print precision and quality. Having listened to their dual requirement for both printing and finishing high-end, bespoke applications, we felt the Platinum 1325 and the Titanium 2516 were the perfect combination.
“The Platinum with Ricoh Gen6 printheads delivers the quality print, and the Titanium provides the essential precision cutting, creasing, and routing needed for their market.” Full Spectrum’s client roster includes luxury travel companies, hotels, fashion, lifestyle brands, publishers, and luxury retailers.
