Fulcrum Digital Prints, a relatively new start-up and a sister company of the prominent Bengaluru-based packaging printing firm Creative Dimensions, is making significant strides in the commercial printing sector of the city.
The company achieves this with a dedicated team operating the industry’s top-tier machines, namely the RICOH Pro 8400S and RICOH Pro C7500 digital production presses, both of which were recently acquired from Monotech Systems Limited—a renowned Indian manufacturer and comprehensive solution provider in the printing and packaging industry.
Founded just a few months ago, Fulcrum Digital Prints is the innovative creation of Mr. Binny Pappachan, who possesses over 20 years of extensive experience across various marketing sectors, including brand management, corporate and marketing communication, product management, as well as trade marketing and pricing. He has worked with several FMCG companies, such as Unilever and Colgate Palmolive, as well as major telecom firms like Tata and Airtel.
A genuine team leader with exceptional analytical abilities, he is steering Fulcrum Digital Prints towards progressive growth through strategic initiatives, including the recent investments in the RICOH Pro 8400S and RICOH Pro C7500. Indeed, we take pride in being the first in India to own the RICOH Pro 8400S.
We selected this highly sophisticated monochrome digital production press due to its outstanding features and capabilities, such as perfect registration and compatibility with both coated and uncoated media up to 350gsm for duplex (front-back) printing,” states Mr. Pappachan, who further adds, “Similarly, the RICOH Pro C7500 serves as an exceptional digital colour production workhorse, characterized by its advancements in speed, media versatility, and high-quality print outputs.
Designed to be compact yet robust, the RICOH Pro C7500 operates at an adjustable speed of 95ppm. “Beyond productivity and print quality, this digital press accommodates a wide range of media from 40gsm to 470gsm, which ultimately allows us to explore new graphic applications,” explains Mr. Pappachan.
