Enfocus Updates PitStop, Phoenix and Griffin to Support Industry 4.0 Workflows
Latest software releases introduce enhanced security, workflow automation, and production planning features to help print companies improve efficiency.

Enfocus has released updates for its PitStop, Phoenix, and Griffin software solutions, introducing new features designed to improve usability and help print companies align more closely with Industry 4.0 principles.

Steven Nuyt, Head of Product at Enfocus, said the latest updates provide print businesses with tools that help streamline production processes, improve operational performance, and enable teams to focus on more creative and value-added work.

One of the key enhancements in PitStop Pro 26.07 is compatibility with Adobe Protected Mode.

Adobe Acrobat’s Protected Mode is a built-in security feature that helps safeguard computers from potentially malicious PDF files by opening documents within a sandbox environment, isolating them from the rest of the computer and network. With this compatibility, PitStop Pro is designed to support stronger data integrity and information governance while ensuring continued compatibility with Adobe’s latest security standards.

The PitStop Server 26.07 update also expands workflow compatibility by allowing TIFF image files to be used as an input source through both the CLI and Switch apps, offering greater flexibility for automated production workflows.

For Phoenix, the latest release introduces an advanced bound booklet assembly mode together with an updated planning engine. These enhancements are intended to help print providers optimise folding schemes and production layouts more efficiently, improving overall workflow planning.

Meanwhile, Griffin is now available in Portuguese, extending support to customers in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking markets.

Commenting on the release, Steven Nuyt said the latest software enhancements are designed to improve the user experience while expanding functionality, allowing print professionals to spend less time on repetitive tasks, overcome production challenges more efficiently, and focus on delivering high-value print applications.
