Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) will begin sales of the DP-RX2, a dye-sublimation photo printer1, across global markets in phases starting in January 2027. The printer is designed for the growing event photo, photo booth, and broader photo services markets.
The DP-RX2 is the successor to the DS-RX1HS photo printer, widely used around the world. Building on the predecessor’s proven print quality, high-capacity printing, and cost-effective performance , the DP-RX2 now enables printing on sticker media. Combined with multiple print sizes, it opens up more possibilities for photo printing and expands photo service opportunities.

The DP-RX2 inherits the proven performance of its predecessor, including high-speed printing of up to 290 prints per hour (4×6 inch, High Speed Mode, Glossy finish, Standard media), high-capacity printing of up to 700 prints per media roll, and a space-saving design.
〇Printing on Sticker Media
The DP-RX2 now enables printing on sticker media in addition to conventional photo paper. Sticker photo prints can be applied to everyday items such as smartphones and notebooks, offering new ways to enjoy printed photos.
〇Media Status Check
The media size and remaining number of prints can be checked in real time, allowing media to be replaced at the right time. This helps ensure smooth operation and reduce workload at event venues.
