India’s leading digital textile printing technology manufacturer showcases indigenous innovation and sustainable textile solutions at the country’s flagship textile event.
ColorJet Group has been appointed as the Official Technology Partner for Bharat Tex, the flagship textile exhibition supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and organised by the consortium of Textile Export Promotion Councils (EPCs). The partnership highlights the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable digital textile printing technologies while strengthening India’s position as a global hub for textile manufacturing and print technology.
Recognised as one of the world’s largest integrated textile events, Bharat Tex brings together the complete textile value chain, including fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel, home textiles, machinery and technical textiles. The event serves as a platform for industry stakeholders to showcase innovation, encourage collaboration and explore new business opportunities within the global textile sector.
As the event’s Official Technology Partner, ColorJet presented its latest digital textile printing solutions, demonstrating India’s capabilities in advanced textile manufacturing. The company highlighted its indigenous engineering expertise and showcased technologies developed and manufactured in India to address the evolving requirements of domestic and international textile producers.
Commenting on the partnership, Madhu Sudan, Chairman of ColorJet, said Bharat Tex has become an important platform reflecting India’s growing ambitions in the global textile industry. He noted that the event encourages interaction between policymakers, global brands, manufacturers and technology providers while supporting discussions around innovation, sustainability, trade and industry growth. He added that ColorJet is proud to support an initiative that aligns with the company’s long-standing focus on sustainable manufacturing solutions.
Sudan further emphasised that the future of the textile industry will be driven by sustainability, engineering excellence and manufacturing efficiency. According to him, ColorJet remains committed to developing technologies that help Indian textile manufacturers strengthen their competitiveness while creating long-term value across the textile ecosystem.
A key highlight at the exhibition was the FabJet Pro, described by ColorJet as India’s only indigenous ultra-wide direct-to-fabric digital textile printer designed for the home furnishings segment. Supporting printing widths of up to 3.2 metres, the system is intended for applications such as curtains, upholstery, bedding and home décor while offering high productivity and consistent print quality. The company stated that the machine represents a significant milestone as it is designed and manufactured in India for both domestic and international markets.
ColorJet also showcased its broader portfolio of digital textile printing technologies, including pigment, reactive and disperse printing solutions. These technologies are designed to help manufacturers respond to shorter fashion cycles, increasing demand for customised products and growing sustainability requirements across global markets.
With more than 6,000 installations across over 50 countries, ColorJet continues to expand its global footprint while supporting the growth of sustainable textile manufacturing through continuous investment in research, development and indigenous innovation.
As Bharat Tex continues to evolve into an international platform for innovation, collaboration and sustainable growth, ColorJet’s participation as Official Technology Partner reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing India’s digital textile printing industry and reinforcing the country’s role in the global textile value chain.
