Since 2005, Brother has been known for manufacturing garment printers designed from the ground up. The GTX300 hybrid DTG/DTF garment printer is designed to help users produce more with less friction. From day-to-day jobs to high-demand production, it delivers consistent, professional results, allowing users to take on more creative ideas and product types without changing their setup.

The GTX300 is a direct inkjet garment printer that supports both Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing applications. It features an adult platen measuring 14″ × 16″ (35.6 × 40.6 cm) as standard and supports youth and baby platens, with a maximum print area of 16″ × 21″ (40.6 × 53.3 cm).

The printer uses 5-color water-based pigment inks (CMYKW) with CMYK plus White, supported by two industrial piezo print heads with eight ink channels and Ink Flow Technology. White ink circulation is maintained through the sub tanks, ink lines, and print heads to ensure consistent performance.

With a maximum print resolution of 1200 × 1200 dpi, the GTX300 supports single or double CMYK print modes, along with underbase and highlight printing for white ink. An industrial maintenance station with wet caps and wet wipers helps maintain reliable operation.

The printer features a 7-inch touch control panel, supports USB, file output, and LAN connectivity, and operates on AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz with power consumption of less than 180W during printing.

For DTG production, Brother recommends curing prints using a conveyor oven at 160°C for 3 minutes 30 seconds or a heat press at 180°C for 35 seconds. For DTF production, the powder curing process requires 160°C for 5 minutes, followed by transfer at 150°C for 20 seconds, with an additional 20-second press. Actual curing times and temperatures may vary depending on the manufacturer’s dryer.

Before DTG printing, pretreatment should be applied manually or automatically and dried using a heat press according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Pretreatment is required when printing with white ink.

The GTX300 is compatible with Windows 11 (64-bit), macOS Sonoma (14.0), and macOS Sequoia (15.0). It supports 1000BASE-T LAN, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0 connectivity. Brother recommends a 2 GHz processor with at least 8 GB RAM for standard operation and 16 GB RAM for DTF printing. Recommended software includes Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator CC.
