Anna University has been conferred the prestigious Regional Institution of Excellence Award (South) by the Offset Printers Association (OPA) for its outstanding contributions to skill development in the Printing and Packaging sector and for nurturing the Regional Topper.
The award was presented to Prof. Dr. V. Kumaresan, Registrar of Anna University, on 11 May 2026. The ceremony was attended by Dr. K. Vipninendran, Head of the Department of Printing and Packaging Technology, and Dr. J. P. Nirmala, Assistant Professor. Also present on the occasion was Mr. G. N. Visvakumar, Managing Director of Rajmas Digital Offset Prints, Chennai.
This recognition highlights Anna University’s continued leadership in fostering excellence in specialised technical education and strengthening industry-academia linkages in the printing and packaging domain.
