HP Inc. and manroland Goss have entered into a reseller agreement for the digital finishing systems FormerLine and FoldLine, strengthening their long-standing strategic collaboration in industrial print solutions.
The two high-performance folding systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with HP PageWide Web Press inkjet platforms, enabling fully connected production workflows from printing through to finished book blocks and newspaper products.
FormerLine is tailored as a roll-to-book block solution, ideal for short and medium print runs, including customised titles and on-demand publishing. Its technology allows cost-efficient production of up to 10,000 copies, achieving throughput of up to 7,000 book blocks per hour with 160 pages each when paired with HP PageWide systems.
FoldLine, on the other hand, is a versatile multi-purpose finishing system capable of handling a broad range of applications. From traditional newspaper formats to stitched products and book blocks, it delivers high flexibility and performance, operating at web speeds of up to 305 m/min.
Both systems are supported by the PECOM-X automation platform, ensuring streamlined operation with minimal manual intervention. Designed specifically for industrial digital print environments, FormerLine and FoldLine enable print service providers to efficiently manage shorter runs, greater variability, and faster production cycles.
