New 117,000-square-foot plant consolidates Waukesha operations and expands custom label production capacity
KDV Label has opened a new 117,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin, marking a significant investment in the company’s long-term growth, production capabilities, and customer service.
Located near Les Paul Parkway, the new plant brings KDV Label’s Waukesha operations together under one roof, creating a modern production environment designed to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen collaboration, and support faster turnaround times for customers.
The facility is intended to accommodate continued growth across KDV’s core markets, which include food, beverage, dairy, personal care, automotive, and specialty consumer goods. By centralizing its manufacturing activities, the company expects to improve operational consistency while providing scalable production capacity.
“One year ago, we broke ground with a vision of building something that would strengthen our future while better serving our customers and our team,” said Keith Walz, President and CEO of KDV Label. “Today, we’re proud to open the doors to a facility that reflects that commitment and positions KDV to continue delivering the service, quality, and partnership our customers rely on.”
The new manufacturing site supports KDV Label’s broad portfolio of custom labeling solutions, including pressure-sensitive labels, digital labels, unsupported film labels, promotional labels, variable data labels, and expanded content labels.
The company said the investment will allow it to meet growing market demand while maintaining the craftsmanship and customer-focused approach that has shaped its business since its founding in 1974.
To mark the opening, KDV Label hosted customers, suppliers, partners, and members of the local community for facility tours and live demonstrations showcasing the company’s label printing technologies and production capabilities.
The new Waukesha plant represents another step in KDV Label’s ongoing investment in manufacturing technology, workforce development, and long-term partnerships with customers and suppliers as the company continues to expand its presence in the label printing market.
