Swastik Arts Boosts Digital Label Production with India’s First Jetrix Digital Label Press
Colorix installs its first Jetrix digital label press in India, enabling Swastik Arts to enhance premium label production with advanced UV inkjet technology and integrated finishing capabilities.

Mumbai, India: Colorix, a business unit of Orange Company, has installed India’s first Jetrix digital label press at Swastik Arts in Mumbai, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion into the country’s fast-growing digital label printing market.

The installation represents Colorix’s long-term strategy to equip Indian label converters with industrial-grade digital printing technology that delivers high print quality, production efficiency, and reliable local service support.

The newly installed Jetrix press features a 6-color UV inkjet printing system integrated with cold foil and lamination modules, allowing converters to produce premium labels with vibrant colors, metallic embellishments, and value-added finishing in a single production workflow. The press is designed to reduce setup time, minimize material waste, and support profitable short-run and variable-data printing.

The Jetrix platform is suitable for a wide range of applications, including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and beverage, industrial, chemical, and premium consumer product labels, where quick turnaround, consistent quality, and production flexibility are increasingly essential.

Hariom Dave, Sales Head at Colorix, said the installation is a significant milestone for the company and reinforces its commitment to transforming India’s label printing industry. He added that Swastik Arts was chosen as the launch partner because of its strong reputation for quality and innovation. Dave also announced that five additional Jetrix digital label press installations are already scheduled across India, highlighting growing industry confidence in the technology and Colorix’s commitment to providing comprehensive sales, service, training, and application support.

Swastik Arts invested in the Jetrix press to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and meet rising demand for premium labels with faster turnaround times.

Sanjay Kadam, Director of Swastik Arts, said the press has delivered excellent machine stability, consistent print quality, and vibrant color reproduction from the start. He noted that the investment will improve production efficiency and enable the company to deliver greater value to its customers.

The installation reflects the increasing adoption of digital label printing technologies across India, as converters seek solutions that offer greater flexibility, shorter make-ready times, lower inventory requirements, and improved profitability for short-run and high-value label production.

With several more installations planned in the coming months, Colorix aims to further strengthen its presence in India’s digital label printing market while expanding its portfolio of advanced digital printing solutions.
