Designed with sustainability in mind, the BP-71 and BP-51 series use up to 50% recycled plastic and are shipped in recyclable cardboard packaging instead of polystyrene. Additional eco-friendly features include 0.3W standby power consumption, ENERGY STAR compliance with a low Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) value, and a motion sensor on the BP-71 series that automatically wakes the device when a user approaches.
The BP-71 and BP-51 series are available across India through SHARP Business Systems (India) and its authorised distributors.
Speaking on the launch, Osamu Narita, Managing Director, SHARP Business Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd., said:
“A device can be smart, but if that intelligence doesn’t make life easier for the people using it, it means little. With the launch of our new colour and mono multifunction printer series in India, every feature—from AI-driven automation to multi-layered security and sustainable design—is designed to deliver value for the people using it. This is where smart technology meets human connection.”
