Wedderburn becomes Ravenwood’s authorised distributor and print partner, bringing linerless labelling technology closer to Australian manufacturers.
Ravenwood Packaging has appointed Wedderburn Australia as an authorised distributor of its machinery and a print partner, strengthening the availability of linerless labelling solutions across the Australian market.
Under the agreement, Wedderburn will distribute Ravenwood’s Nobac linerless labelling machines and install a Ravenwood Com500 linerless coating system, enabling linerless labels to be manufactured locally in Australia.
The partnership allows Wedderburn to offer a complete linerless labelling solution backed by local technical expertise and support.
Paul Beamish, Managing Director of Ravenwood Packaging, said Australia represents a key growth market for linerless technology. He noted that combining Ravenwood’s machinery and coating technology with Wedderburn’s market presence and technical expertise will help customers improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and adopt more sustainable labelling practices.
Established in 1896, Wedderburn is a family-owned business operating across Australia and New Zealand, supplying labels, labelling systems, weighing equipment, packaging machinery, and food technology solutions.
The company has also supported sustainability initiatives through the use of FSC-certified materials, participation in circular economy programmes such as RafCycle, and collaboration with organisations promoting recyclable and compostable packaging materials.
Commenting on the partnership, Philip Wedderburn, Executive Chairman of Wedderburn, said the agreement reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable labelling solutions. He added that the collaboration will help Australian businesses access proven linerless technology that improves efficiency, reduces waste, and supports sustainability goals.
