New 76-inch industrial dye-sublimation printer delivers up to 306 m²/h with eight PrecisionCore printheads, hot-swap ink system, and automated maintenance for uninterrupted textile production.
Epson Malaysia has expanded its industrial textile printing portfolio with the introduction of the SureColor SC-F20030, a new 76-inch dye-sublimation printer engineered for manufacturers seeking higher productivity, consistent print quality, and minimal production downtime. The latest model joins Epson’s existing dye-sublimation lineup and is designed to support both short-run and large-scale textile production.
At the heart of the SureColor SC-F20030 are eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads arranged in a horizontal overlapping configuration. This doubles the printhead count compared to the SureColor SC-F11030, enabling production speeds of up to 306 square metres per hour at a resolution of 600 × 600 dpi across the full 76-inch print width.
The printer uses Epson UltraChrome DS Ink supplied through a 10-litre bulk ink system with hot-swap capability, allowing operators to replace empty ink packs without interrupting production. This feature helps maintain continuous printing while reducing downtime in demanding manufacturing environments.
To ensure stable, high-quality output, the SC-F20030 incorporates a built-in drying system with double-sided heating that dries transfer media more efficiently and minimizes ink transfer and media wrinkling. An integrated dust-control mechanism, combining an intake fan and media cleaner, further improves reliability by reducing dust accumulation and helping prevent nozzle clogging.
Maintenance has also been simplified. Operators can replace selected consumable components, including the printhead and anti-drying cap, without requiring an on-site service visit. Built-in diagnostic tools assist in monitoring printer performance and streamlining maintenance procedures.
For businesses handling extended production runs, Epson offers optional jumbo roll and jumbo reel units capable of supporting media weighing up to 300 kg, significantly reducing media changeovers and improving production efficiency.
