Cosmo Films has expanded its Cosmo Synthetic Paper portfolio with the launch of CSP DigiLux-MW, a premium matte-white synthetic paper engineered for high-end digital printing applications. The new product is designed to deliver superior print quality, enhanced visual appeal, and long-lasting durability for commercial printing, labels, tags, and premium packaging applications.

According to the company, CSP DigiLux-MW features enhanced whiteness that helps create vibrant, sharp, and luxurious print outputs. The product is aimed at applications where visual impact is critical, enabling brands and print service providers to achieve premium-quality results across a wide range of printed materials.

The newly launched film is compatible with powder toner-based digital printing technologies, including systems from Xerox, Canon, Kodak, and Konica Minolta. In addition, it supports multiple printing processes such as conventional and offset printing, water- and UV-based flexographic printing, screen printing, thermal transfer printing, letterpress, UV inkjet, and HP Latex technologies.

Kulbhushan Malik, Global Business Head at Cosmo Films, stated that the launch reflects the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable, durable, and high-quality solutions for the evolving commercial printing industry. He emphasized that the new product is designed to address diverse customer requirements while strengthening Cosmo Films’ position in the synthetic paper segment.

Cosmo Synthetic Paper is a co-extruded, white opaque polypropylene-based film that resembles conventional paper while offering significantly higher durability, moisture resistance, and longevity. It serves as an alternative to traditional paper in applications where strength and extended life are essential. The product portfolio also complies with key international standards, including EU 10/2011, USFDA, REACH, and RoHS regulations.

The launch comes amid growing demand for durable and sustainable print media driven by expanding e-commerce, FMCG, retail, packaging, and industrial sectors. As businesses increasingly seek weather-resistant and high-performance print solutions, products such as CSP DigiLux-MW are expected to play an important role in supporting premium printing and branding applications.
