Graphic Technic Prints Enhances Label Finishing with Second Rhyguan PLUS 330 from Flexo Image Graphics
Second Rhyguan PLUS 330 installation boosts advanced label embellishment, precision converting, and production efficiency for premium packaging applications

Graphic Technic Prints has strengthened its label converting capabilities with the installation of a Rhyguan PLUS 330 servo-driven flexographic printing and die-cutting system supplied by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG). The investment marks the company’s second Rhyguan machine, reinforcing its confidence in the brand’s performance and after-sales service.

The new Rhyguan PLUS 330 has been commissioned in the company’s post-press division to deliver premium embellishment and high-quality finishing for self-adhesive labels. The installation follows the successful operation of a Rhyguan Smart 330 slitter rewinder, which has been serving the company’s production requirements over the past three years.

Expanding value-added label production

According to Kailash Periasamy, Partner at Graphic Technic Prints, the company’s decision to invest in a second Rhyguan system was driven by the reliability and productivity of its first machine. The new PLUS 330 enables the company to enhance printed labels with sophisticated decorative effects while offering customers greater flexibility in premium packaging applications.

Graphic Technic Prints is widely recognized for its customized printing and packaging solutions, producing an extensive range of products including pressure-sensitive labels, ice cream cone sleeves, folding cartons, and other specialty packaging materials. The company continues to combine conventional print expertise with advanced converting technologies to deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.

Advanced features for precision converting

The Rhyguan PLUS 330 is engineered for both semi-rotary and full-rotary flexographic printing and die cutting, making it suitable for short, medium, and long production runs. The system incorporates independent registration and automatic re-registration to ensure accurate print-to-cut alignment during high-speed operations.

Among its key features are:

  • Servo-driven semi/full rotary flexographic printing

  • Semi/full rotary die-cutting with precise registration

  • Web cleaning system for improved print quality

  • Semi-rotary cold foil unit with differential core holder

  • Chill drum and IR drying system

  • iUV Hybrid LED curing technology

  • Web monitoring and inspection system

  • Auto roll lifter for efficient unwinding

  • Roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet delivery options

  • IML conveyor for specialized label applications

These capabilities allow converters to produce visually enhanced labels with metallic foiling, specialty coatings, and premium finishing effects while maintaining consistent productivity.

A partnership built on performance

Flexo Image Graphics views the repeat order as a strong endorsement of both the Rhyguan platform and its customer support network. Gourav Roy, Managing Director of Flexo Image Graphics, noted that Graphic Technic Prints’ continued investment reflects the trust built through machine performance and dependable post-sales service. He also highlighted that many Indian label converters have expanded their production lines with multiple Rhyguan installations over the years.

The growing adoption of advanced finishing equipment reflects a broader trend within India’s label industry, where converters are increasingly investing in value-added embellishment technologies to meet the rising demand for premium packaging across FMCG, food, beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors.

With the addition of the Rhyguan PLUS 330, Graphic Technic Prints is well positioned to offer enhanced decorative labels, faster turnaround times, and greater production versatility, further strengthening its presence in the competitive label and packaging market.
