As an independent, privately-owned company with over 90 years of experience, Carolina Container has been a leading innovator in the packaging and display business. As part of the New Indy Containerboard family, Carolina Container has locations throughout the East Coast of the US.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When Carolina Container reached out to G\u00f6pfert, the manufacturer was eager to find the perfect solution. G\u00f6pfert, a third-generation, family-owned company based in Wiesentheid, Germany, specializes in high-end full-line corrugated board processing systems \u2013 prefeeder to palletizer \u2013 tailored to the customer\u2019s requirements was more than pleased to find the perfect solution for Carolina Container.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new rotary die-cutter can produce blanks printed on both outside and inside in a single pass and fulfils Carolina Container\u2019s requirement for the tightest register accuracy, high production speeds, and exceptional print quality. The demand for boxes printed on both sides has risen in recent years, driven by the growth of e-commerce. In response, Carolina Container continues to invest in the company\u2019s capabilities to find innovative solutions for customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe overall installation was expertly organized by the G\u00f6pfert team and executed with great efficiency. Carolina Container is excited about the future business opportunities this machine will provide, especially as it allows us to enter the high-graphics market,\u201d says Jonathan Leerkes, COO, Carolina Container.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier this year, the eight-color HBL Evolution with two top print stations and six bottom print stations was successfully delivered, installed, and commissioned. The installation went smoothly, thanks to the preparation by both the Carolina Container team and the G\u00f6pfert project crew.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The G\u00f6pfert machine ensures precise process control and very tight registration for boxes. It can be set up while running, and when combined with the dual rotary die-cutter, setup time has been reduced to under 10 mins.
